whoa! here’s the only picture I found of myself at moccafest AND the only picture of that weird beard I had that I immediately shaved off after the show!
I assume you are all here because of the article on Booooooom (thanks again Jeff!) anyway, I figured I would post up all my information just to be safe:
HERE YOU CAN BUY MY ZINES, PRINTS, AND ORIGINAL ARTWORK
I TAG ALL MY ORIGINAL DRAWINGS AS “ART” BUT HERE IS A LINK TO IT ANYWAY
FOR COMMENTS, QUESTIONS, COMMISSION REQUESTS OR IF YOU’D LIKE TO BUY A DRAWING THAT ISN’T UP ON MY BIGCARTEL SITE EMAIL ME AT WILLLAREN@YAHOO.COM. YOU CAN ALSO ASK TO BE PUT ON THE MAILING LIST WHEN NEW STUFF COMES OUT.
@3 weeks ago with 8 notesSometimes when my mom is getting down on me for wasting money like when I bought that bobcat rug I’ll eventually yell out this line from “Be Alright” by Zapp and Roger. it has a 50/50 chance of either diffusing the situation or making her angrier. I have a pretty forgiving mother though.
EDIT: I forgot to mention that nailing the falsetto at the end will either make or break this trick
@1 month ago with 31 notesJust a quick thank you to everyone who came to see me at my table at MOCCA fest over the weekend. a lot of you had incredibly nice things to say and it will take at least two weeks for the belt sander of reality to take the good vibes barnacles off the hull of the ship that represents my ego in this incredibly complicated metaphor.
and a super thank you to everyone who gave me a copy of their zines! I haven’t gotten a chance to look through all of them but what I did see I was incredibly impressed by. and I’m not just saying that! anyone that knows me in real life will tell you I’m not a nice person.
AND FINALLY the best thank you goes to the guy from The Center for Cartoon Studies who gave me his silkscreened zine about going to the DJ Screw Museum! that was so high production, awesome, and weird (plus you knew the song I got the title for Slurricane from) you deserve an individual plug! I don’t have your name on hand since your zine is still packed with the rest of my things but when I finally unpack I’ll mention this again with all your information.
Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion is one of the top 5 funniest movies of the 90’s and bordering on a surrealist masterpiece and if you disagree you’re a bad person with an ugly heart and I don’t give a flying fuck what you think.
In my life there have been maybe 5 insults people have said to me that were so cutting and cruel that they still will echo through my head years after. but none of those hurt worse than facebook thinking I was in the target demographic for this product.
now that I’m the proud (co)owner of another risograph with a larger print area there may be a chance of a reprint of Slurricane #2 in the near future!

proof that high school me actually had those sneakers that Woody Harrelson had. man, between these kicks and my yearbook quote going viral, I guess I have to come to terms with the fact that I peaked in high school
P.S. I gave all my sneakers to my little brother when I decided to start dressing better and he doesn’t even wear them because he want’s to look like he plays the tambourine in mumford and sons or some shit.
Fun fact: my high school yearbook quote was just a chain youtube comment I found and sent in verbatim. (forgot I changed the word “comment” and “video” to “yearbook quote” and “yearbook”) Thanks to Jess Fox for finding this!
EDIT: now that this has reached over 600 notes I feel like I should say that if you like jokes I made when I was 18 you’ll LOVE jokes I’m making at 22! I put these jokes in zines sold here. no pressure though.
